“Some moments don’t wait for the ceremony. They arrive quietly, in the light before everything begins.”

Just before the turmeric, just before the vows — this is where we found Himanshu and Nancy. He stepped out in a cream floral bandgala sherwani, a garden of pastels blooming across the fabric. She wore a patchwork saffron lehenga, mirror-work catching every ray of morning light, fresh mehndi running up her arms and a garland of roses and marigolds at her throat. Together, they looked like they’d both been dressed by the same beautiful garden.

But what made these portraits wasn’t the outfits — it was the ease between them. The way she tucked into his arms and laughed without meaning to. The way he pressed a quiet kiss to her mehndi-adorned fingers. When Nancy spun, her lehenga rose in a full joyful circle — arms open, head back — and Himanshu stood behind her, grinning like a man who simply couldn’t help it.
